HAITI EARTHQUAKE - SCP's role was to travel the country documenting the devastation, as well as NGO operations in emergency relief, post trauma distress management, and other outreach programs. Our base was 3 tents perched on a vista amongst the rubble of a luxury hotel that had totally collapsed, killing 70 people.  Overlooking Port-Au-Prince, we descended daily into the ruins and chaos of a city completely flattened by the quake. 300 000 died in what the United Nations called the worst earthquake in modern history.  Also see videos for tribute to emergency relief teams.
